SECTION 1 – FORUM AND BLOG POSTING REGULATIONS

 

No Pornographic or Sexual Material.
Sexually explicit discussions are not acceptable to our community. Sexually explicit content and links to such content are strictly prohibited.

No Profanity
The use of profanity is strictly prohibited, whether in titles, forums, blog posts, or anywhere else on RealEstatz.

Posting Email Addresses, Websites and Phone Numbers in Forum Threads.
Users may not post URLs in any form unless you are a RealEstatz PRO or PREMIUM member (or comparable marketed paid plan) and posting an advertisement in our Marketplace. If you want to include your email address, website, or phone number for people to contact you, please put this information in your Profile. We reserve the right to remove any email address, website, or phone number that has been placed in titles, forums, blog posts, or anywhere else on RealEstatz, except in advertisement posts placed in our Marketplace.

In addition, we strongly urge you not to disclose any personal information that you do not wish others to know.

No Personal Discussions.
Personal discussions or "for the attention of" posts are prohibited. Please take private discussions out of the blog comments and forums area. Use chat or email for this purpose.

 

No Impersonations.
Do not impersonate or attempt to impersonate other forum members, moderators, or administrators. In addition, do not post email addresses, standard addresses, ICQ and other messaging client numbers, or phone numbers which are not your own. The creation or use of fake user accounts is strictly prohibited.

 

You Must Disclose Your Relationship with any Company, Website, Guru, or Other Entity that You Comment About.
If you participate in a discussion about a company, website, guru, coaching program, etc., and have any kind of relationship with that entity (e.g. affiliate, partnership, employee, owner), you must disclose this relationship in your post. RealEstatz reserves the right to publicly or privately ask about your relationship with any company that you comment on, to remove any post which does not disclose such a relationship, and to close your account if you fail to disclose such a relationship.

 

One account per user, please.
RealEstatz users are limited to one account per person; users may not register or use alternate accounts.

 

No Abusive Behavior.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not post or otherwise transmit any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR INCLUDES POSTING IN ALL CAPS! It is bad netiquette, and is flat out rude.

 

Do Not Flame or Troll
Flaming, flame-baiting, and trolling are not allowed anywhere on this site, including in posts, signatures, and private messages. Flaming is directly insulting another member, flame-baiting is making a comment with the intention of getting a flame as a response, and trolling involves starting arguments or upsetting people by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

 

Mutual Respect - All Members are Equals
Treat all RealEstatz members equally, whether they are an admin, a moderator, or an average member. Do not single a member out because they have a lower membership status on the site. In addition, do not personally attack members who violate these rules. Instead, report the member or post to a moderator or admin.

 

Respect the Staff
If a staff member tells you to stop doing something, stop. Never attack the staff directly. If you disagree with any action taken by a staff member, please contact the administrator privately at support@realestatz.com.

No Email Harvesting
Harvesting email addresses from our site is strictly prohibited. Do not harvest email addresses from RealEstatz users.

 

No Poaching or Polling
Diverting our members to competitor forums or websites is strictly forbidden. Polling our members to gather information to be used on a competing real estate site, course, podcast, book, blog post or video is strictly forbidden.

 

No Affiliate Marketing
No form of affiliate marketing is allowed on RealEstatz. That means no posting affiliate links in messages, in your signature, in blog posts, or on your profile. Hiding affiliate links through services that provide short URLs is also forbidden. All violations will be penalized with account deletion and with no substitution of subscription payments.

 

No Posting Images.
No screenshots, photographs, gifs and other images of any kind allowed.

 

Stay On-Topic
Posts, comments in any particular feed need to stay on-topic. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from the topic, please create a new topic in the forum. Posts that are unrelated to real estate will be deleted.

 

No Religious or Political Postings
Religious statements and threads on the topic of religion are not permitted on RealEstatz. Please do not use a religious quote in your signature, or anywhere else on the site. Political threads not permitted on RealEstatz. Any post or thread regarding politics will be removed. RealEstatz reserves the right to edit any post or thread that may contain political or religious commentary. RealEstatz is a real estate only platform and community. Severe abuse will be penalized with account deletion and with no substitution of subscription payments.

 

No Thread Killing
Thread killing disrupts the flow of conversation on RealEstatz. If you are not happy with a post you made, you may remove it only before others have responded. Do not remove a post once others have responded to it.

 

No SPAM
Spam is strictly prohibited on RealEstatz. RealEstatz PRO and Premium members (or comparable marketed paid plans) may send messages to members, but these messages may not contain advertisements or solicitations. The only place for advertisement is the Marketplace.

Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads, comments or posts that contribute nothing to a post or forum, whether on or off-topic. Examples include: advertisements outside the Marketplace, empty posts, posts with few words that have no relation to the current thread, promotion of your website or product in any thread other than the Marketplace. Posting the same message across several threads is also considered Spam, as is filling your post with keywords with the goal of attracting searchers (keyword stuffing).

Off-Limits Ad & Solicitation Types
Posts or messages including chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any kind of Ponzi scheme are not allowed on our site. Promoting or marketing properties that you have no contractual or ownership interest in is also strictly prohibited.

 

No Advertising or Promotions Outside the Marketplace
RealEstatz may consider looking for or offering deals, looking for or offering loans, looking for or offering to be a cash buyer, looking for or offering services or any mention of your company, company name or what your company does to be advertising.

There is one area of the website for promotion, solicitation, marketing, and requests: The RealEstatz Marketplace. Posting advertisements in other forums, in blogs, in comments, or via unsolicited private messages is prohibited. In order to post or respond to a post in the Marketplace, you must first upgrade to a RealEstatz PRO or RealEstatz Premium account. Responding to another user's advertisement with an advertisement for different products or services is strictly prohibited.

 

These rules apply to the Marketplace 

The primary purpose of RealEstatz is to give members a platform to discuss real estate. Advertising is a secondary benefit to paid members. RealEstatz reserves the right to remove ads or to close accounts completely of those users who have incomplete profiles, or who fail to provide enough information to identify the product or service that is being promoted, or for any other reason.
